We handle private and corporate moves end to end — planning, packing, furniture assembly, transport and a broom-clean handover of the old flat. Statutory carrier liability of €620 per cubic metre of loading space applies under § 451e HGB; for higher values we arrange additional transport insurance at a value you set yourself.

Liability and insurance — clearly set out
We work carefully and document the condition of your furniture before and after transport. If something is damaged anyway, the statutory liability for removal contractors applies: €620 per cubic metre of loading space under § 451e of the German Commercial Code. For higher values we arrange additional transport insurance — and you set the insured value yourself.

Reporting a claim
Report damage with a photo and short description. Important: under § 438 HGB, externally visible damage must be reported at handover, and hidden damage within 14 days.
Settlement
After review we repair the damaged item or replace it within the statutory liability limit — and up to the agreed insured value where transport insurance has been taken out.
Statutory liability for removal contracts under §§ 451 ff. of the German Commercial Code applies, in particular the liability cap of €620 per cubic metre of loading space (§ 451e HGB). Additional transport insurance beyond that can be arranged for a specific move or for individual valuables; the premium depends on the value you declare. Business liability insurance: LVN. How we move you in Munich
Private moves
From a studio flat to a detached house. We assess the volume during the survey, size the crew and vehicle accordingly and give you a fixed price. On moving day a team of two to four people from our own business does the work, with our own vehicles.
Corporate moves
Offices, practices and warehouses are moved outside your business hours, usually at the weekend. Workstations are dismantled with numbered labels and rebuilt in the same configuration at the new site so work resumes on Monday. Archives are transported sealed and traceable. The largest job we have handled covered roughly 700 linear metres of shelving, or 40 office workstations.
Packing and furniture assembly
You get professional packing materials, or our team packs everything for you. Moving boxes and wardrobe boxes can also be rented separately. Wardrobes, beds, kitchens and office furniture are properly dismantled, transported and reassembled on site — including reconnecting washing machine and dishwasher.
Storage between moving out and moving in
When weeks pass between moving out and moving in, we store your belongings dry and secured — in our own warehouse or with vetted partners, depending on volume and duration — and deliver on your chosen date.
No-parking zone and carrying distance
On request we set up a no-parking zone at each address; the permit takes about three weeks to arrange and costs €300 gross per address. It's almost always worth it: if the vehicle can't park right at the entrance, the carrying distance grows, and the extra carrying time is reflected directly in the final price.
What we do not transport
Pianos, grand pianos, safes, billiard tables, industrial machinery and oversized loads requiring a crane or removal via window or balcony are outside our scope. The benchmark is what two people can safely move by hand or with straps. We move whirlpools and saunas up to 120 kg and large potted plants up to 100 kg. We do not transport live animals. We would rather say so in advance than on moving day.
What a move in Munich costs
The price follows the volume, the crew and time needed, the distance, the floor level and the add-ons. Typical market rates for moves within Munich are €700–1,400 gross for a two-room flat and €1,400–2,800 gross for four rooms. Fixed-price quote
You receive a written quote with scope, crew, date and fixed price — no follow-up charges on moving day. Additional scope and extra work are only charged after prior agreement.
Preparation
We apply for the no-parking zones at both addresses, deliver packing materials on request and coordinate with the property manager or neighbours.
Moving day
The team documents the condition of valuable and delicate items, dismantles, loads securely, transports and reassembles at the destination.
Handover and claims
We check the condition together with you at the destination. Externally visible damage is recorded directly at handover; hidden damage should be reported within 14 days with a photo. We repair or replace within the statutory liability limit.
What a move in Munich costs
The price follows the volume in cubic metres, the crew and time needed, the distance, the floor level and the add-ons you choose. Rule of thumb: roughly 0.3 to 0.5 m³ of goods per square metre of floor area. Carrying distance matters too: if the vehicle can't park right at the entrance, the extra carrying time is reflected in the final price. All figures are gross prices including 19 % VAT.

What does a move in Munich cost?

How far in advance should I book my move?
Two to three weeks for private moves, four to six weeks for corporate moves. For a move at month-end between June and September, ask four to six weeks ahead — those dates fill up quickly. In a hurry: express moves can be organised within 24 hours subject to availability.
What happens if something is damaged during my move?
Report it with a photo and a short description. Because we document the condition of valuable items before and after the move, review is fast. We repair the item or replace it within the statutory liability of €620 per cubic metre of loading space (§ 451e HGB) — and up to the agreed value with additional transport insurance. Please report externally visible damage directly at handover.
Do you also handle packing?
Yes. On request our team packs your entire household professionally. Alternatively we deliver only the materials and you pack yourself. Note that liability for transport damage is limited on self-packed boxes, because we could not check the contents or the quality of packing.
Is my property insured during transport?
Statutory liability under § 451e HGB applies to moves: €620 per cubic metre of loading space. That covers ordinary household goods, but is not always enough for high-value furnishings. For those cases we arrange additional transport insurance for the whole move or for individual valuables — you set the insured value yourself and the premium follows from it.
Do you apply for the no-parking zone?
Yes, at both addresses. The permit takes about three weeks to arrange. The fee is €300 gross per address. Without a no-parking zone, the vehicle may end up further from the entrance, and the extra carrying time is reflected in the final price.
Do you move outside Munich as well?
Yes. We work throughout a radius of roughly 50 km around Munich, including Dachau, Freising, Erding, Starnberg and Fürstenfeldbruck. Long-distance moves out of Munich are handled Germany-wide, and moves within the EU as well. We do not offer overseas moves by container or air freight.
Are there items you will not transport?
Yes. We do not move pianos, grand pianos, safes, billiard tables, industrial machinery, or anything requiring a crane or removal via window or balcony. The limit is what two people can safely move by hand or with straps — whirlpools and saunas up to 120 kg, large potted plants up to 100 kg. We also do not transport live animals.
Do you work weekends and public holidays?
Yes. Saturdays carry a 50 % surcharge; Sundays, public holidays and express moves within 24 hours are charged at double rate. Corporate moves are usually scheduled onto the weekend deliberately, so your business is running again on Monday.
Can I book moving, clearance and renovation together?
Yes — that is our full service. A combined job is typically 20–35 % cheaper than three separate ones, because travel, setup time and coordination are only incurred once, which means significantly fewer work-hours.
